The present continuous

Put the verbs in brackets in the present continuous.

1. is reading
2. are playing
3. isn’t making
4. am going
5. are they talking

1. Nam is reading a book now.
2. They are playing football at the moment.
3. My sister isn’t making a sandwich at present.
4. I am going to the supermarket at the moment.
5. Are they talking about their new friends?

Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn dùng để diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói.

Cấu trúc thì hiện tại tiếp diễn:

(+) S + is / are / am + Ving.

(-) S + is / are / am + not + Ving.

(?) Is / Are / Am + S + Ving?

Look at the pictures. Write sentences like the example. Use positive or negative present continuous verbs.

1. Nam and Ba______________. (eat ice cream)
2. Lan and Trang______________. (take photos)
