State the basic difference between the fortis and lenis consonants? give examples for instance.

Answer: The Difference between them is that the air-stream of fortis voiceless consonant is strong while lenis voiced consonant the air-stream is weak. It means that fortis consonants are produced with more force of articulation than lenis ones.
